Embraer Phenom 100 – E50P

The Embraer Phenom 100 is a Light Jet developed by Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer. It has a capacity for 4 passengers in its normal configuration, but it can carry up to 6-7 passengers with a single crew. It has a maximum flying range of 1,178 nautical miles with 4 occupants.

Airbus A350

The Airbus A350 is a long-range, mid-size, wide-body family of airliners currently under development by European manufacturer Airbus. The A350 will be the first Airbus with both fuselage and wing structures made primarily of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic. It is designed to compete with the Boeing 777 and 787.

The Sport Flying Revolution

The Sport Flying revolution has just begun. In 2004, the FAA, working closely with the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) created what has been called “The biggest change in aviation in 50 years.” They created an entirely new category of aircraft (Light Sport Aircraft) as well as a new category of pilot license (Sport Pilot), both aimed specifically at consumer recreational flying.

The Airbus A310

The Airbus A310 is the shortened version of the A300. It first flew in 1982 and entered service with Lufthansa in 1983. A total of 255 were delivered. Here are some shots of a Canadian Forces A310 sighted in Providenciales on March 9th 2010.

The Piaggio P180 Avanti is an Italian made twin engine turboprop aircraft which operates frequently in Providenciales. While the P180 aircraft has been in operation for about 2 decades and I’ve seen them on countless occasions, I’ve only gotten around photographing one today. Enjoy my shots!
