About

My name is Wayne Farley and I was born and raised in Georgetown Guyana where I started my Air Traffic Control career. Today, with more that two decades of ATC experience, I work for the Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority as an ATC Training and Quality Assurance Officer. In my hayday I worked as an Aerodrome and Approach Controller at the Cheddie Jagan International Airport – Timehri (SYCJ) and at the smaller, but no less busier, Ogle Aerodrome. Sometime later, I manned the skies over Guyana when the Georgetown ACC was established to facilitate full control on the then newly established RNAV route linking New York and Rio de Janeiro.
When I am not messing around the airport, I can be found behind my computer developing websites or creating some graphic design or the other. I find this to be rather therapeutic as well as entertaining. Photography is also one of my greatest passions which I try to do as much as I can, and reading to a lesser extent. This is probably more than you care to know about me so go enjoy my blog and join the discussion if you care to.
This blog covers Air Traffic Management, Aerospace and General Aviation matters which affect aviation professionals globally.
